How to try on a bra and check the fit at home

Try on your newly purchased bras as soon as possible being careful not to soil, stain or otherwise mark the product - that means no deodorant stains or perfume scents. Don't remove any labels and keep all original packaging.
Set aside time to try your new bras on when you're unlikely to be disturbed and are feeling good about yourself. Be sure to have a mirror nearby and always try your new bras on underneath clothing to check your silhouette.
The band is what gives your boobs the support they need. If it's too loose, it will tend to rise up your back. The band should sit under the root of the bust and straight across the smallest part of your back. Remember to wear your bras on the loosest possible 'snug' fitting to allow for wash and wear (as a rule of thumb the band shouldn't pull more than an inch away from the body). This will ensure the bra can be tightened to make it firm, so that it is supporting the breasts.
To get the best fit always remember to ‘scoop and swoop’ using one hand to gently gather each breast into the cups. This is important as you need to be sure that all your breast tissue is in the cup so as to avoid any pressure from the band. The straps should be comfortable and adjusted so that you can still fit two fingers width underneath them.
